Regional Transportation Plan

As the Regional Transportation Planning Agency (RTPA) for the region, California State law requires the Plumas County Transportation Commission (PCTC) to adopt and submit an updated Regional Transportation Plan (RTP) to the California Transportation Commission (CTC) and the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) every four years. The purpose of the plan is to provide the region with a vision supported by transportation goals for a ten and twenty-year horizon. The region is defined as the County of Plumas, including the City of Portola. The RTP documents the policy direction, actions, and funding strategies designed to maintain and improve the regional transportation system.
