Military and Overseas Ballots

Military and Overseas ballots for the June 2, 2026 Primary Election will be mailed April 3, 2026.

If you are a registered voter in Plumas County, but are currently in the military or living overseas, you are still entitled to vote. You will receive a Military and Overseas Ballot.

In order to receive your Military and Overseas Ballot in a timely manner, you will need to:

  • Complete the Federal Postcard Application (FPCA) or register to vote here.
    • If you choose the register option, make sure you indicate your military or overseas status in the application process.
    • The Federal Postcard Application must be completed prior to every election to confirm your military or overseas status and ensure your ballot arrives to you on time.
  • You may choose whether you want your ballot and official return envelope mailed, faxed, or emailed to you.
  • Complete and return your ballot according to the instructions you receive based on how you elect to receive your ballot.
