Quincy/Portola Meeting Room (Oct 26 2021): Due to issues with repairs, there may be trouble getting heat for the meeting rooms. Please be aware that this is a potential issue.
Meeting Room Usage
The Plumas County Library, as an open forum promoting knowledge, ideas, and cultural enrichment, makes meeting rooms available to organizations engaged in educational, cultural, intellectual, civic, or charitable activities. All meetings must be free and open to the general public. Admission fees are not permitted.
We have meeting room locations at Quincy Branch and Portola Branch.
Reservations should be made at least 2 weeks in advance. Reservations may not be made more than 90 days in advance. A group may not schedule more than one meeting a month. No organization may use the room more than two consecutive days. Please contact us immediately to cancel any reservations.
You will be required to sign the meeting room policy form to show clear understanding of all rules and regulations for the use of the meeting room. (The form is also available at the front desk.)
Per COVID-19 guidelines, please make sure to wipe down all used tables. The County Mask Mandate includes participants using the meeting room.
Use of the meeting room does not constitute an endorsement of the views of the user by the Library.
