Recharge Our Community's Economy
The Recharge Our Community's Economy (ROCE pronounced like "rock") workshop is apart of Rural Community Assistance Corporation (RCAC)'s Building Rural Economy's (BRE) Smart Growth program. BRE’s Smart Growth focus builds the capacity of local partner organizations to identify, plan, and implement catalytic community economic development projects. The community workshops, training and technical assistance BRE staff provide throughout this process empower partner organizations and their communities to build economic resiliency and create long-term sustainability.
Plumas County held the ROCE workshop series in Chester, CA in Fall 2025. The workshop took place at the Almanor Recreation Center (451 Meadowbrook Loop, Chester, CA 96020) from 8am 9am-2pm on the below dates. After each workshop, staff have posted the presentation and the recap for the workshop.
