Plumas County Grant award tracking

Plumas County is working towards posting many of its grant programs on this site in the future. Please see below for programs and reporting (as available):

  • The American Rescue Plan (ARPA) provided $350 billion in emergency funding for eligible state, local, territorial, and Tribal governments to respond to the COVID-19 emergency and bring back jobs through the Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF). Plumas County received the ARPA Allocation from the US Treasury at the end of 2021 for a total of $3,653,039. These funds are to be fully allocated by December 31, 2024, and use by December 31, 2026.
  • The Local Assistance and Tribal Consistency Fund (LATCF) is a general revenue enhancement program that provides additional assistance to eligible Tribal governments, eligible revenue sharing counties and eligible revenue sharing consolidated governments. Plumas County received the LATCF Allocation from the US Treasury in the calendar year 2023 for a total of $7,540,736.36. These funds are to be fully allocated by December 31, 2026.
  • California Department of Parks and Recreation Off-Highway Vehicleis a collaborative program with Plumas National Forest and Sierra Buttes Trail Stewardship focused on developing and maintaining trails in Plumas County.
    • Plumas County, in collaboration with the Sierra Buttes Trail Stewardship (SBTS), is seeking funding through the OHMVR program to support Ground Operations to continue maintaining up to 125 miles of motorized trails within the Plumas National Forest. Maintenance activities focus on addressing downed and hazardous trees, clearing brush, repairing trail tread, and mitigating erosion. The public is invited to an open house meeting on January 29th, from 5:30 to 6:30 PM, at the Quincy Library, located at 445 Jackson St, Quincy. This meeting is an opportunity for public review and input on these projects. Community feedback is encouraged and greatly valued. Public comment period for grant opens March 3rd at www.ohv.parks.ca.gov .
