Notice of Intent to Adopt
Mitigated Negative Declaration
For the
Keddie Bridge Replacement Project at Spanish Creek
The Plumas County Planning Department intends to adopt the Mitigated Negative Declaration for the replacement of Keddie Bridge (No. 9C-0034) over Spanish Creek on Keddie Resort Road with a new two-lane bridge just downstream of the existing bridge. The existing bridge is functionally obsolete and structurally deficient and poses a safety hazard to vehicle travel. The existing bridge will be removed and replaced with a pedestrian bridge on the existing abutments. The project also includes modification of the approaches on Keddie Resort Road to match the alignment and grade of the new bridge.
Copies of the proposed Mitigated Negative Declaration document are available for review at the Plumas County Public Works Department located at 1834 E. Main Street in Quincy, or on the Plumas County Public Works website at Proposed Mitigated Negative Declaration (PDF)
