Bids for this work will be received at the Office of the Plumas County Public Works Department, 1834 East Main Street, Conference Room, Quincy, CA 95971, until 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 17, 2020, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud.
This project replaces the existing wood post guardrail with Midwest Guardrail System (MGS) supported on steel posts including end treatments along approximately 7.8 miles of Gold Lake Forest Highway (CR 519) from the Sierra/Plumas County line to the intersection of State Route 89. The approach guardrails are also being modified at the Frazier Creek Bridge.
The contractor shall possess a Class A license at the time this contract is awarded.
The successful bidder shall furnish a payment bond and a performance bond.
Complete bidder’s packages are required for submitting a bid. Complete bidder’s packages can be purchased at the Office of the Plumas County Public Works Department, 1834 East Main Street, Quincy, CA 95971, for a non-refundable fee of $20.00 or $25.00 (if mailed) respectively.
