[ARCHIVED] Livestock scale inspection scheduling

I wish to thank everyone for returning their information sheet along with their registration forms. The information provided will greatly help us to schedule our inspection time table as well as plan our routes in the most efficient manner possible. If you need to change your shipping date to an earlier time please call us at 283-6365 and we will do everything we can to check your scale in a timely manner.

Our intent is to test your scale at least two weeks before you intend to ship and we would like to do it four weeks earlier. Our goal is to allow you to check off one thing in your busy schedule or if you do need to have some scale work done you will have sufficient time.

I will send out additional notices as we get closer to the time we begin our inspections. Please take a look at your scale(s) to see if they need any work such as dirt removal from underneath thanks to our burrowing squirrels.

Please encourage your fellow ranchers to sign up for these notifications, it is the fastest way I have to communicate with you.

Thank you again for your cooperation.

Keith Mahan, Plumas/Sierra Ag. Comm.
