Please be advised that when contacting the Plumas County Correctional Facility Officers are limited on what information they are allowed to release. Court dates and release information will not be given out for safety purposes. Officers can, and will, only release an inmate's charges and bail amounts. Contact the Clerks Officer at the Plumas Superior Court, at (530) 283-6232 for court information. Jail staff is also limited on what they can receive at their facility. Only medications and seeing glasses will be accepted over the counter, all other items will be denied into the facility.

ATTENTION

Until further notice, the Plumas County Correctional Facility will be under strict no-contact orders. We are doing our part to minimize contact with persons who may have or have been in contact with the coronavirus. At this time we will not be accepting any form of money over the counter to be placed on an inmate's books. Money can still be sent over electronically through Accesscorrection.com or 1-866-345-1884. Visitation is also suspended for the next month, after which we will reevaluate the situation. Our generous vendors at VendEngine will offer a free video visitation to all inmates once (1) every three (3) days until April 13th. The scheduling for these visitations can be found at www.jailfunds.com ACS applicants wishing to turn in an application can still do so by mail and money order. Physical drop-offs will still be accepted at the Sheriff’s Officer at 1400 East Main Street, Quincy, CA 95971. We understand that this may be an inconvenience for some and we are sorry for these unforeseen circumstances. The no-contact order is a preventative measure we are implementing to best protect our officers, inmates, and the public from the spread of virulent pathogens For further information feel free to call as this situation is rapidly evolving.
