Notice to Voters - PLUMAS COUNT VOTES ENTIRELY BY MAIL!
There are no longer regular polling places in Chester, Greenville, Portola, or Quincy.
All Voters will receive a Vote by Mail ballot at the mailing address provided on their voter registration. If you moved, you must register at your new address.
Vote by Mail ballots are mailed 29 days before each election and if you have not received yours 14 days before the election, call the Elections Division at 530-283-6256 or 1-844-676-VOTE.
If you need a replacement ballot, call the Elections Division at 520 Main Street, Room 102, Quincy, CA. 95971.
You can return your Vote by Mail ballot by:
- Mail your Vote by Mail ballot early, in the Return Identification Envelope - postage has been paid for you.
- Drop off your Vote by Mail ballot (in the Return ID Envelope) at the convenient Ballot Return Box located in front of the Courthouse in Quincy.

Accessible Vote-by-Mail System: Voters can access the Voter Information Guide, mark and download their ballot information from the convenience of their own home, and return it by mail.
Additional information for Voters with Disabilities. Voters voting at the Elections Department who are unable to mark a ballot may bring up to two individuals to assist them in voting. Voters with special needs may also listen to the ballot and vote at the Elections Department. Please call ahead and allow an hour to hear the ballot.
